Why give?
Giving is one of the ways we live out our faith. Each gift — whether it’s time, talent, or treasure — helps us share love, hope, and compassion with our community and the world beyond. When you give to Peace Church, you’re not just supporting a building — you’re strengthening a community. Your generosity creates a space where everyone belongs, where all are affirmed, and where faith turns into action through ministries like Grace Café, Peacemakers, and other outreach efforts that extend kindness far beyond our walls. Together, we keep sharing the message of love for all creation — one act of giving at a time.

The Peach Church Endowment Fund was created in 1986 to enhance the ministry of the church apart from the general operations of the congregation. The Principal of the fund is preserved in perpetuity with an annual distribution not to exceed 4%. Annual distributions are made in the following areas: Scholarships and Grants, Mission Projects, Local Community Outreach, and church building and grounds expenditures.
Gifts can be made to the Endowment Fund through transfers of property (cash, stocks, bonds, and real estate), bequests in will, charitable remainder and other trusts, charitable annuities, or assignment of life insurance. Those interested in making donations to the Peace Church Endowment Fund, or have other questions regarding the fund, should contact the church office for the name of the current board chairperson.

The Peace Church Memorial Fund accepts gifts for purposes that will help the church further its mission and that support its programs and special projects. It is a special account established to receive gifts given in memory of deceased individuals, often as a way for family and friends to honor their loved ones while supporting the church’s mission. The funds are typically used for lasting projects or items that serve as a tribute, such as purchasing church furnishings, supporting ministries, or enhancing the church grounds. Decisions about how the memorial funds are used are made by church leadership ensuring that the gifts are both meaningful and beneficial to the congregation.

The Peace Church general fund is the primary financial account used to support day-to-day operations and ministry activities. It covers regular expenses such as staff salaries, utilities, building maintenance, worship supplies, educational materials, and community outreach programs. Donations given by church members usually go into the general fund unless designated for a specific purpose, such as the Memorial Fund or the Endowment Fund. Maintaining a healthy general fund is essential for ensuring that the church can continue its regular ministries, meet financial obligations, and respond to ongoing needs within the congregation and community.
